The Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival kicks off on Thursday in downtown Mount Vernon.

WNZR’s Marcy Rinehart was joined by Grant Pepper from Knox Pages in an interview session with Joe Bell, Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival Co-Director.

He shared details about this year’s festival including the focus on visual arts.
He shared some exciting news about some new features including the Kids Zone, Chalk the Block, Balloon Sculptor, and the Festival Wood Challenge.

Cheerleading takes a new twist at this year’s Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival

WNZR’s Marcy Rinehart talked with Melissa Nowicki about the 2021 Cheerleading Competition at the Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival.

She shared details about how this year’s competition will focus on “Game Day” routines and cheers.
She also shared how teams can register to participate.
Melissa shared advice for those competing this year, plus encouragement for anyone interested in getting involved in the sport of cheerleading.
