Feeling Lost? Turn to God!

When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered, I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you. Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Psalm 73: 21-26
Ever feel lost without a sense of direction? Ever ask yourself if you’re where you’re supposed to be? Today on the Morning Thing, we looked at how to find a sense of direction and get yourself back on track. Click HERE. We also looked at some Bible verses to give you some direction. Click HERE.
As always, thanks for listening!

Love is Patient, Love is Kind

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today on the Morning Thing, we dove into the “Love Chapter” of the Bible!

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poorand give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhoodbehind me.For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13: 1-13

As always, thanks for listening and happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at WNZR!

ReviveOhio is coming to Knox County!

God is doing incredible things in our community and it is a blessing to be a part of His work. One of the amazing events happening in Knox County is ReviveOhio. This movement of prayer and unity will be going on throughout the area from March 15th through the 21st.

ReviveOhio is all about prayer, discipleship, and believers coming together to spread the message of God’s love to our neighbors. We had the opportunity to speak with two representatives from ReviveOhio, Mark Burd and Jim Reynolds. The two of them had lots of great thoughts to share about how ReviveOhio operates, its themes, its message, and how you can get involved. You can get all this information and more by listening to the conversation HERE.

For additional information, you can check out the ReviveOhio website or the Facebook Page for ReviveOhio: Knox County. We are excited to see what God does for our community through this wonderful event and we encourage you to take part as well!

How can you show kindness today?

For this’s week Morning Thing Fave 5, we shared our favorite ways to show kindness to others. We encourage you to give kindness a try today.

Ephesians 4:32 ESV
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

These are our favorite ways to show kindness.
