As Christians, we are called to be joyful. Philippians 4:4 tells us to “rejoice in the Lord always.” Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us that “the joy of the Lord is [our] strength.” Easier said than done though, right? When times get difficult we find ourselves robbed of God’s joy. Yet these are the times that we need His joy the most!
On today’s show we shared an article from Focus on the Family that identified four thieves that attempt to rob us of our joy. A combination of lies, misbeliefs, and selfish needs, these thieves strike during tough times. But knowing what they are helps us to rest in God’s truth and keep our joy safe.
