Healthy habits can be hard to start. That’s why it’s encouraging to hear about Crunch Out Knox County- an awesome program for 4th Graders done in partnership with United Way of Knox County. Students are provided with exercise balls and the tools and lessons to start building healthy habits at a young age. To learn more about this great program, we talked to Nadia Kershner, this year’s Knox County Crunch Out essay winner, and Marilyn Rutherford, the P.E. teacher at Fredericktown elementary school. You can hear the entire conversation HERE. Check it out and get some good advice from which even we adults can learn something!
