The Morning Thing Fave 5 – Why we LOVE Sonfest!

For this week’s Morning Thing Fave 5, we share our favorite things about Sonfest.
We are excited about this year’s event. Sonfest will be held in the Grove at Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Saturday, 9/23. Gates open at Noon, music starts at 1pm.

Here’s the lineup:
1:10pm – Bonray (Main Stage)
1:50pm – Ex-Nihilo (2nd Stage)
2:30pm – Sarah Reeves (Main Stage)
3:10pm – Safekept (2nd Stage)
3:50pm – Jonny Diaz (Main Stage)
4:30pm – The Lasting Hope (2nd Stage)
5:10pm – JJ Weeks Band (Main Stage)
5:50pm – Damac (2nd Stage)
6:30pm – Anthem Lights (Main Stage)
7:10pm – The Ruins (2nd Stage)
7:50pm – Plumb (Main Stage)

Other activities include:
– Inflatables
– Super Games
– 9 Square in the air
– Two 30 minute BMX Bike Shows (at 2:30pm and 4pm)
– 2 vs. 2 Cornhole Tournament (registration from 12-2pm, tournament starts at 2:30pm)
– 4 vs. 4 Sand Volleyball Tournament
– Gaga Ball
– Plus FOOD – pizza, Mexican burritos and bowls, gyros, ice cream, coffee and smoothies and Pepsi!

When you come to Sonfest, make sure to stop by WNZR’s Big Blue and register to win a Sonfest survival kit including a bag chair with artist signatures from 2016 and 2017!
