The 24th Annual Fredericktown Christmas Walk is Saturday 12/7!

The Morning Thing featured several special guests this week as we prepare to go to the 24th Annual Fredericktown Christmas Walk.

The Walk benefits the Salvation Army and Interchurch Social Services in Fredericktown, along with the Fredericktown Community Relief Fund.

Join WNZR at the Fredericktown Christmas Walk this Saturday!

There is an exciting family event happening this Saturday in Fredericktown!
Join the Big Blue Crew and have some fun at the 2023 Fredericktown Christmas Walk.

The Morning Thing featured members of the Walk Committee on Wednesday and Thursday.
Listen in as they share highlights of the schedule, details of the numerous activities, and what this event means to the community. Each member talks about how important it is to support one another and the great impact that all money raised at the Walk will have on families from Fredericktown.

Proceeds from the Fredericktown Christmas Walk support Fredericktown Interchurch Social Services and the Salvation Army through Food For The Hungry. The Walk proceeds also support the Fredericktown Community Relief fund which helps residents with financial support for rent and utilities.

WNZR’s Marcy Rinehart talked with Joely Lepley from TD Landscaping about this Saturday’s Fredericktown Christmas Walk.

Joely has been with the Christmas Walk Committee for over 9 years!

She shares a list of activities at the Walk this year. She is very excited about a live ice sculptor that will be making sculptures in the Splash Pad Area. He will also be offering hands-on activities for kids.

Joely also shares details about this year’s collectible ornament. It is a horse-drawn carriage in front of a barn. It brings the theme of “A Country Christmas” to life.
