One of the greatest and most significant things in life is family. With one or two children, we are so busy with family activities that it is easy to forget to spend time with everyone. Jesus encourages everyone to love others as He has loved them. One of the Bible passages that makes it abundantly evident that God’s love serves as the model for our own lives is in John 15:12. John 15:12 (NIV) My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Marcy and Shawn gave some of the following reminders Friday: • Time flies but love makes it count • Quality time does not have to be complicated • It’s an opportunity to create some lasting memories.

Sometimes its tough to let go of things, especially before you go to bed. We need to trust in God and know that he has our best interest at heart.
Isaiah 43:18:19 (NIV) states “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Marcy gave some insightful reminders from Facebook to think about to help shut your brain off right before bed.
They include: Tomorrow is a fresh start. Mistakes are just part of learning. Today was a step forward, even if it wasn’t perfect. It’s okay to rest —- I’ve earned it.
