Celebrating the Life of Dr. King

This morning on the show we celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The history of MLK day can be found HERE. You will also find out how to celebrate this day and make it “a day on” not a “day off.”

WNZR’s Marcy Rinehart talked with Scott Burgess of We Run MV about the 10th Annual Turkey Trot.

Scott shared details about this year’s event and how the team has worked hard to protect participants and volunteers.

8/15/2020 is a special day at 800 Martinsburg Road in Mount Vernon, OH. It is Move In Day for Mount Vernon Nazarene University!

WNZR talked with Tracy Waal, MVNU’s Vice President for Student Life. Tracy has been leading the campus team that prepared MVNU’s “Return to the Vern” reopening plan. He shared some insight into this difficult and ever-changing process. Tracy also talked about specific steps MVNU is taking to keep students, faculty and staff safe during the pandemic. He also shares some powerful messages about how important it is to have students back on campus for the true MVNU experience.
