Bible Verses to encourage DAD!

The bible is the best source for encouragement for our daily lives. This week, The Morning Thing is honoring Dads, just in time for Father’s Day.

We found over 30 verses that talk about God’s love for us, instructions for fatherhood and inspiration for husbands. There are also verses about love and faith. It is our prayer that these verses will encourage Dads and their family members.

Here are some of our favorites:

  • Lamentations 3:22: “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end…”
  • Psalm 103:8: “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”
  • John 15:9: “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.”
  • Jeremiah 31:3: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”
  • 1 Corinthians 13:7: “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
