Russ Lee, lead singer of NewSong, joins WNZR’s Alyssa Sidle to help preview another great lineup for Winter Jam 2024.

Russ shares about the history of Winter Jam and how it first started as a simple $3 NewSong concert. Russ then tells us what it has been like to see God use NewSong’s music and ministry to reach and encourage people through the years.

He also talks about how Christian radio makes a positive impact in people’s lives. Russ wraps up with sharing how we can be praying for him, the band, and the whole Winter Jam 2024 team.

Joseph gives an update on what the band has been up to recently including going on tour with Chris Jericho’s band. He then shares how exciting it was to get the news that Seventh Day Slumber had been invited to tour on Winter Jam.

Did you know that Fruit Strip gum is being discontinued? Fruit Stripe’s manufacturer, Ferrara Candy, reports that the multi-colored gum is coming off the market.
When our Morning Thing hosts heard the news, we were a little bummed. Marcy Rinehart grew up enjoying that gum with her siblings.

We decided to go on a search for other products that we miss.
