The Impossible Trivia Question was about the lesser known monotreme (mammals that lay eggs) the echidna or spiny anteater. Congrats to Cameron from Utica for getting this one right!

Growing in Your Faith

This morning Cameron and Christa talked about ways to grow in your faith, starting with the fruits of the spirit. You can learn more about the fruits of the spirit from this link.

The Impossible Trivia question was linked to yesterday’s Afternoon Drive where they talked about the origin of the word “clue” (it means “a ball of yarn” and was used to navigate a famous labyrinth in Ancient Greece).

They also talked about Abraham and his faithfulness through all of his trials.

You can hear more encouraging ways to strengthen your walk with Christ every day on the Morning Thing, 6-9am!

Be Humble and Cook a Sweet Potato Day!

pride-vs-humility

Humility may be the most difficult of all the virtues to truly attain. Sometimes we might think we are being humble, but often it’s very hard to realize the difference between being humble, and having pride.

Being humble and not judging others is what God asks of us. We need to not be the ones to jump to conclusions or accusations, but instead be loving to all, and ask God to humble our souls to help those in need.

We can also help those who aren’t humble, to show them contentment, in realizing that sometimes it’s okay to be wrong.

Check HERE to see how to apply Be Humble Day to your life today!

Also, it’s Cook a Sweet Potato Day! SWEET!!

Did you know that when you eat a sweet potato you are actually eating a past delicacy!? In the 16th century these specific potatoes were very expensive and hard to get!

Our favorite recipes to think about: Sweet Potato Cupcakes, Sweet Potato Ice cream, Sweet Potato Bars, and MORE!!

Try and get that sweet potato in for dinner tonight, and maybe try out these delicious recipes!
