Wyatt tells us that originally, he was a graphic design major and then he had a class with Jayme McMillan and that changed his mind.

Wyatt is very active here at MVNU. He is on the Volleyball Team and plays Esports. He also likes golf and works at a golf course.

He shares some of his favorite foods and artists and memories he has made here at MVNU.

Ethan talks about how God has been working in his life. His favorite verse is Psalm 86:12.

Zoe is very active here at MVNU. She is on the Lakeholm Viewer staff (student newspaper) and leads a small group called Cougs for KSP (Knox Starting Point).

March is National Caffeine Awareness Month

There are many benefits to drinking caffeine. However, there also can be health problems if you drink that fifth cup of coffee.

Make Some Great Musical Memories with Your Kids!

March is National Sing with Your Kids Month and it’s amazing how belting out a tune together can boost kids happiness and confidence, not to mention strengthen those precious bonds between you.

On the Morning Thing with Shawn and Eric, they talked about the benefits of singing as family is a fantastic way to help little ones with their language skills.

For the older kids out there, have a karaoke night where you sing with microphones or hairbrushes to songs to have a great time.

There also health benefits for just singing including relieving stress, increase your pain threshold, improve snoring and lung function.

“Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.”

Today is Learn What Your Name Means Day

Today is a special day that encourages all of us to explore the meanings and origins of our names.
Shawn and Eric shared meanings in various cultures for the hosts of both Morning Thing and the Afternoon Drive.
Morning Thing
Marcy means War Lord, God of War and brave.
Xander means Defender of the people or Protector of man.
Shawn means God’s gracious gift or Gift of God.
Eric means strong, ruler, leader, wise, gentle and loving.

Afternoon Drive
Joe means God given or God’s gift, or the Son of the Ultimate Warrior.
Judah means to give lord praise or the Praise of God.

WNZR’s Meet the Staff Monday feature is introducing you to 13 NEW DJs that are joining our staff this semester!
Today, we introduce you to Jackson Bush. He is a Junior Communication & Media (Digital Media) Major from Roseville, California.

Jackson got interested in WNZR and MVNU because he was impressed by the WNZR.tv live stream.
His favorite foods are sushi, crab and shrimp.
Jackson works on the WNZR Video Team as an announcer and camera operator and is also a WNZR DJ.
His favorite bible verse is 1 Corinthians 15:55 as he feels that it has helped him grow in faith and with his teammates.
You can hear Jackson on WNZR on Tuesdays from 10-11am and Thursdays from 2 – 3pm.
