Sharing Our Faith

The Bible calls us to share our faith with others. Jesus tells us to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 8:19) and that we are Christ’s ambassadors on Earth (2 Corinthians 5:20). Sometimes sharing the Gospel can seem intimidating, but we found some great advice from Focus on the Family and prayers from Crosswalk that can help!

Here are Focus on the Family’s 5 simple steps to share the Gospel:

  1. Pray for guidance
  2. Build a relationship with the person you want to share with
  3. Share your story with them
  4. Share the Gospel with them
  5. Offer to pray with them and invite them to church

We also shared 5 prayers that you can pray specifically for the next generations of believers. Click HERE to see the prayers from Crosswalk.

How to Stay Positive When Times are Tough

Life is a roller coaster, filled with peaks of joy and valleys of challenges. During the tough times, maintaining a positive mindset can be challenging, but it’s essential for our mental and emotional well-being. Today we shared tips and practices from The Positivity Blog to help you get through those difficult times.

Here is one that stood out to us today:

Talk it over with someone close to you.

This is one of the most powerful tips in this post and one my most used ones.

Just letting your thoughts and feelings out can be a powerful thing. It can relieve stress and anxiety and all the inner pressure that has built up inside.

And it can help you find a new perspective.

Sometimes as someone close to you simply listens and as you vent and figure things out for yourself.

And sometimes as the other person helps you to navigate your situation and out of negative thinking by sharing what they did when they had similar troubles or by building a small plan together with you for what you need to do next.
