Celebrate the 90s with Mixtape Theology

If you listen to The Morning Thing, you know that Wednesday mornings from 8am to 9am are special.
We have a weekly feature called “Wayback Wednesday”. We play music and artists from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.

We were super excited to find a book that celebrated one of our favorite decades!
Let us introduce you to Mixtape Theology – a devotional and retrospective inspired by 90s Christian music and culture.
WNZR’s Marcy Rinehart had the chance to talk with authors, William “Ashley” Mofield and Rachel Cash. They shared their passion for this decade and the inspiration for writing the book.
Mixtape Theology takes fans of 90s Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) to “Another Time, Another Place” to “Dive” into the biblical passages and messages behind their favorite 90s music and artists!

Rachel and Ashly share how they chose the artists and songs to be featured, plus memories from this special decade.
